History
Designed in 1967 by landscape architects Sasaki, Walker and Associates, the plaza was coordinated with the One Maritime Plaza tower and the garage beneath the park. A former bridge to today’s Sue Bierman Park later became known in skateboarding culture as Hubba Hideout before its removal in 2010.
