About this place

Cottage Row Mini Park is a landscaped brick walkway and garden beside a nationally recognized group of nineteenth-century Victorian buildings near Japantown and the Fillmore.

History

William Hollis built most of Cottage Row's 22 buildings in the late 1860s and 1870s. A later community partnership added a garden honoring the Issei, the first generation of Japanese immigrants in the United States.
