900 Innes is the southern portion of India Basin Waterfront Park, where a former industrial boat-building site has been reshaped as a shoreline park with habitat, public gathering spaces, and direct access to San Francisco Bay.

History

The San Francisco Recreation and Park Department acquired the 900 Innes property in 2014. The site’s soil, sediment, and marine debris reflected decades of boat building and vessel repair; remediation preserved the landmark Shipwright’s Cottage while preparing the shoreline for public park use.
